Best Web Summit Lisbon 2026 Side Events for Startup Founders

How this guide works

How events are selected

This page includes published founder-networking events with a 2-star or 3-star editorial rating. Broader arrival meetups and lower-priority options remain available in the full directory.

Before you register

Choose one clear outcome for each event: fundraising, partnerships, peer introductions or market feedback.
Check whether the organizer screens attendees or requires approval before adding the event to your schedule.
Leave transfer time between venues; Lisbon traffic and cross-city travel can make back-to-back events impractical.

Founder events worth prioritizing

Compare the date, audience, access rules and format before registering. A smaller event with the right audience can be more useful than a large general meetup.

Planning answers

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Web Summit ticket to attend these founder events?

Many side events use separate registration and do not state that a Web Summit ticket is required. Always check the organizer page because approval, capacity and ticket rules differ by event.

How should a founder choose between several events on the same evening?

Prioritize explicit audience fit and format. Pitch sessions are useful for feedback and investor exposure, while dinners and curated rooms generally favor fewer, longer conversations.
